Ulta Beauty Retail Store Redesign Proposal


Ulta Beauty is more than just a retail store—it’s a space where young people can discover and express their creativity. This redesign project reimagines the Ulta Beauty store by embodying the brand’s fun and free-spirited nature while ensuring easy access to products and information through technology, engaging visual merchandising, and bold graphics. The goal is to create an immersive environment that resonates with a young, demographic, including Gen Z and Gen Alpha, by incorporating the latest design and technology trends.
In this project, I used my skills to craft an interactive and memorable store experience, redesigning fixtures, signage, and graphic elements to reflect the brand’s essence. By introducing personalized and unique experiences, creating a retail space that inspires creativity and connects seamlessly with the lifestyle of today’s Ulta Beauty customers.
Design Process and Research
Software Programs:
SketchUp & Escape: Used to create the 3D render of the store design
Illustrator & Photoshop: Developed the graphics and mockups, ensuring brand consistency.
To create the deck layouts to communicate the concept of the store design
Auto CAD & Illustrator: To design floor plan and traffic flow of the space.
